Players will be selected from all over the province of Quebec. They will be chosen for both their skills on the football field and their merits in the classroom. Players will be nominated from their football programs, by a coach, or president.
As part of the application process each nominee will need recommendations from a principal, student advisor, or teacher about their leadership skills, work ethic and other commendable qualities.

A selection committee will then review all of the nominees and pick up to 100 of the most deserving players.
